Today's texture was taken off of my dad's old blue truck. I am putting a whole texture pack together for images that I took off of his truck. Look for it in the coming week.

Last night I went on a walk with my wife. She had been having a pretty bad day. While on that walk I found a pretty cool old mail box. Had to snap a few pics of this great texture.

Today's texture is a little different. I can't really be used as an overlay of another image. But I think that it could be pretty cool to be used in some sort of design. I will be doing some like this from time to time. I hope you don't mind.

Well I have made it half a month. 16 full days. So far this has been pretty exciting for me. I have learned a lot about what makes a good texture and how to take on okay picture of one. I think you will start seeing some more textures that will be very usable in your design. In addtion to that I will be uploading a link in the very near future so you can download days 1-10 high rez copies for your use. In the mean time if you are looking for a bigger one shoot me a comment and I will email it to you.

What a wonderful weekend. I had an amazing photo shoot. The couple was simple fun. This week I have decided that I would do a little theme. So all this week it will be nothing but metal. I hope you enjoy them.

You don't have to but it would be nice if you gave a shout out to where you got this texture.
Well I have been doing photography and design for quite a few years now. I have scoured he web looking for textures, brushes, and great fonts. I now feel it is time to give back. Over on flickr I have noticed that a lot of users are doing 365 projects. Where they post a new image every day for a year. I have always liked this idea, but knew I could never take a picture I would be happy with for a full year. So now I have found my subject, I guess you would say my calling. That is textures. I plan on uploading a new texture that I have taken every day from now tell next tax day. At the end of that I plan on putting them all together in one zip file for download for a small fee. I hope that you all enjoy them and in time we get a following.
